I’ve given it a lot of thought, in view of all the negative articles concerning Martin Luther King, Jr. Day that fly around the Internet at this time of year, and I’m coming out in support of its status as a national holiday.

In fact, I can’t think of another holiday that better sums up all that America has come to represent.

Besides, the above quote is wrong. Columbus Day still is enough of a holiday to be considered national and it honors just one individual. In fact, since Christopher Columbus did not discover America first, an argument can be made that he deserves treatment equal to King’s, whose commemoration sets the standard for honoring un-American deeds.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – or, as I like to think of it, Marchin’ Lootin’ Killin’ Day – is the perfect reflection of modern America, however, so it deserves to be honored as the most perfect American holiday. Let’s examine the top ten reasons why this is so:

10. King’s history and true behavior are kept secret from Americans, just like America’s recent history and true behavior, both domestically and abroad.

In fact, the King coverup is actually more legitimate, because King’s widow received a 1977 Federal court order which sealed the huge FBI file on her husband for 50 years, “because its release would destroy his reputation!”

9. King incited violence while preaching nonviolence, just as America does every time it invades another small, defenseless country.

“(W)herever King went, violence erupted. He explained it himself, in a piece he wrote for Saturday Review (April 3, 1965), in which he set forth the four steps of his technique: ’1. Nonviolent demonstrators go into the streets to exercise their constitutional rights. 2. Racists resist by unleashing violence against them. 3. Americans of conscience in the name of decency demand federal intervention and legislation. 4. 8. King ruthlessly stole from others, just like America steals Iraq’s oil and uses inflation to steal from its own elderly and poor.

“The first public sermon that King ever gave, in 1947 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, was plagiarized from a homily by Protestant clergyman Harry Emerson Fosdick entitled “Life is What You Make It,” according to the testimony of King’s best friend of that time, Reverend Larry H. Williams.” Holiday for a Cheater, Michael Hoffman (Wiswell Ruffin House, Dresden, New York, 1992) For those who may not know, note that ” plagiarism” merely is a fancy word meaning for steal. “(N)o less an authoritative source than the four senior editors of The Papers of Martin Luther King, Jr. (an official publication of the Martin Luther King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Inc., whose staff includes King’s widow Coretta), stated of King’s writings at both Boston University and Crozer Theological Seminary: ‘Judged retroactively by the standards of academic scholarship, [his writings] are tragically flawed by numerous instances of plagiarism (again, that’s common theft to you and me)…. Appropriated passages are particularly evident in his writings in his major field of graduate study, systematic theology…only 49 per cent of sentences in the section on Tillich (in his doctoral dissertation) contain five or more words that were King’s own….’” Hoffman, ibid.

Boston University officials eventually admitted, “There is no question but that Dr. King plagiarized in the dissertation.” Even so, they concluded that, “No thought should be given to the revocation of Dr. King’s doctoral degree, (because such action) would serve no purpose.” New York Times, October 11, 1991, page 15.

Just think about how outrageous is the conduct of these unnamed Boston University “officials.” This would be like a judge letting a criminal defendant go free, saying, “While eyewitnesses proved that he stole the old lady’s wheelchair and left her lying there on the subway tracks, no purpose would be served by punishing him or, even, making him give that wheelchair back to her.”

“No purpose,” my ass! Hell, you morons, King stole from another the only thing that other individual had by which to identify himself: his intellectual product. And you continue to let King pretend to be its author. In a court of law, you would be charged as accomplices after the fact and given the same sentence as the basic perp. What complete and utter sluts and whores you so-called academics there at Boston University really are!

An interesting side note: Lynne Cheney, wife of America’s current Vice President, was Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities when it purposely and forcefully suppressed knowledge of King’s extensive doctoral thesis plagiarism. She, too, is an unindicted coconspirator, just like her husband. Now we know how she manages to live with Satan incarnate.

“The first book that King wrote, Stride Toward Freedom, was plagiarized from numerous sources, all unattributed, according to documentation recently assembled by sympathetic King scholars Keith D. Miller, Ira G. Zepp, Jr., and David J. Garrow.” Hoffman, ibid.

Imagine, if you will, just how overwhelming King’s stealing from true intellectuals for this particular book upon which he dared to place his own name might really have been, had the documentation been assembled by unsympathetic King scholars!

King never was to outgrow his need to steal the intellectual work of others. For example, he lifted whole sections of his famous “I Have A Dream” speech from a sermon by 1950′s black preacher Archibald Carey.

Imagine that, if you will. The single thing for which King is most revered and remembered is stolen, yet he gets to keep it. It would be as if I traveled to Italy and carted home Michelangelo’s statue of David, then crudely carved my name into its leg and claimed to be the sculptor. Though many would prove that all I did was steal the statue, still I would be lauded endlessly for my artistic mastery in having sculpted it. No – it is exactly….precisely….the exact, same thing!

7. King stole money from his followers and supporters, just like America steals money from its own people through confiscatory taxation, obscene monetary inflation and outlandish deficit spending.

“According to Assistant (FBI) Director Sullivan, who had direct access to the surveillance files on King which are denied the American people, King had embezzled or misapplied substantial amounts of money contributed to the ‘civil rights’ movement. 6. King used a phony name, just like modern America poses as the America born of the 1776 Revolution.

He was born Michael King, but his self-ordained preacher father changed his own name to Martin Luther King in 1935, thereby grandiosely presuming to wrap himself in the legend of the great Protestant reformer, Martin Luther. Thus, his son became Martin Luther King, Jr.

5. King lied prodigiously, just as America lies chronically about all things domestic and foreign.

FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover named Martin Luther King, Jr. “(t)he most notorious liar in the country.”

4. King liked white hookers, similar to how America actively now couples its white daughters with blacks of every stripe.

King spent his last night on earth in an adulterous liaison with a white prostitute, just one in a long string of such assignations. And the Walls Came Tumbling Down, a biography of King by Rev. Ralph Abernathy (1989).

3. King liked brutalizing weaker people, for which America has shown a predilection in both Iraq and Afghanistan, most recently.

2. King was a communist, just like America’s government has become.

“According to King’s biographer and sympathizer David J. Garrow, ‘King privately described himself as a Marxist.’ In his 1981 book, The FBI and Martin Luther King, Jr., Garrow quotes King as saying in SCLC staff meetings, ‘…we have moved into a new era, which must be an era of revolution…. None other than Bobby Kennedy, US Attorney General, had King’s office and hotel rooms bugged during the mid-1960s, developing extensive evidence of King’s communist affiliations, revealing his communist financing and disclosing his handlers. This is how the shocking discovery of his sexual perversions was made.

“Jewish Communist Stanley Levison can best be described as King’s behind-the-scenes ‘handler.’ Levison, who had for years been in charge of the secret funneling of Soviet funds to the Communist Party, USA, was King’s mentor and was actually the brains behind many of King’s more successful ploys. It was Levison who edited King’s book, Stride Toward Freedom. It was Levison who arranged for a publisher. Levison even prepared King’s income tax returns! And, the number one reason why Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is the perfect reflection of America:

1. Martin Luther King, Jr., like other black “leaders,” was run by Jews, just as America’s government, banking and media are today.

Upon further reflection, I realize that Christmas, too, is a national holiday which honors but a single individual. However, Christmas now has been stripped bare of both its ancient pagan and modern Christian meanings by American Zionists and their Shabbats Goyim, the American Christian fundamentalist dispensationalist rapture bunnies, such that it has become merely a major shopping opportunity. Yet another perfect reflection of modern America.

How fitting that the only “religious” holidays left to Americans at the end of the year are one recently created for self profit by a black American ex-con (Kwanzaa) and another that celebrates the massacre of others by Jews (Chanukah).

Marchin’ Lootin’ Killin’ Day

We should not honor such a misbegotten individual as Michael King, Jr. Nor should we honor the nonexistent ideals that King supposedly has come to represent: equal opportunity, brotherhood and overcoming prejudice. Instead, we should take the opportunity to recognize all that Black America actually has come to represent to America: advanced placement of the undeserving, hobbling those who excel to create a false image of equality, welfare entitlement mentality, spite and resentment on all sides.

Images of post-Katrina looting, whining and rampant lawlessness come to mind. Demanding, always demanding that which they have not, will not and cannot earn for themselves. Forever whining about nonexistent racial discrimination. Justice Department figures of overwhelming Black on White crime, particularly rape and murder, far beyond what ever could be explained by differing social or economic circumstances, also come to mind.

If this must be MLK Day, then let those initials stand for what far too many American Negroes truly have become in an increasingly racially-divided and tense America: Marchin’ Lootin’ and Killin’ machines. Yep. Marchin’ Lootin’ Killin’ Day. Let the word go forth from this day forward that, no longer will we recognize the monster that Michael King, Jr. became and instead will let the day stand for what Black America has come to represent – what Black America does best: Marchin’ Lootin’ Killin’ Day.

Dreams of Camelot

I came of age just as America began its long, agonizing conversion into the dreadful, jack-booted creature that now strides back and forth across the globe, demanding, threatening, killing, maiming, taking and sermonizing to all.

We all sensed that something significant had been lost when Jack Kennedy fell in Dallas that crisp November day in 1963, but we had no idea as to what was to come. Most of us still are unable to define the problem, but at least now we all know that a serious problem has evolved.

Viet Nam still was but a vague cloud on a distant horizon.

Our parents told us that we could be better than they and we believed them.

We invented drugs, sex and rock ‘n roll.

Some of us marched for Black civil rights, at once naively and guiltily believing what we were told by college professors about social disadvantage, economic handicap and how we are all the same under the skin – how we all bleed red. We forgot that every beast in the forest also bleeds red. We had no idea that we were about to trade places with the Black man.

Our icons of liberalism and compassion in those days, Hubert Humphrey and Ted Kennedy, assured us that the changes they introduced with their new immigration reform bills would improve America. Desperate to recapture the dreams of Camelot dashed with the loss of JFK, we had no idea that a tidal wave of unchecked immigration, composed of a hostile and aggressive people with no intention of assimilating, was about to sweep over America, forever changing her landscape.

Camelot Become Armageddon

We ignored rumors of conspiracy in one thing and another. We denied the evidence of our own eyes. We marched, unaware, into the maw of political correctness and proceeded to offer our children upon its altar. Today, they serve in the priesthood of the horrible beast that has risen up and assumed control of all of America.

We never suspected that, when finally we were handed the keys to the executive washroom, the world we were promised had been traded in for the very thing against which our parents thought they had fought in World Wars I and II.

We easily could have stopped them in the Sixties, but had no idea of our power.

We could have voted them out in the Seventies, but we vainly hoped for better times after our long journey into the nightmare that Viet Nam became.

We could have pulled them from power and had them tried and convicted during the Nineties, but simple greed got the better of us.

Now, as we approach our dotage, many of us realize what we have and have not done. We are tired, many of us say. That is but another excuse for not doing what we should have done so long ago.

The Great White Hope

If not now, when? If not us, who?

The time, at long last, has come. Our time, my friends. Because of our sloth, it will be a long, bitter and painful ordeal. We have nobody to blame but ourselves for waiting this long.

But we will do it because it must be done and, always, our forebears have done what must be done. Their blood flows in our veins today, as it does in our children. That is how I know we will prevail in the end. We always have. We always will. We have left ourselves no other choice.

In this final decade of the twentieth century, there is an Establishment agenda which clearly calls for the forced physical, social, cultural, and biological admixture of White Americans with the negroid, mongoloid, and mongrel races. The ruling elite intend to achieve “racial harmony” by deliberately altering the racial and ethnic demographics of America, and eliminating the Caucasian race through interracial marriage, or at least interracial sex, to produce a new, hybridized, raceless, classless brown “American”.

Everywhere we turn, in product advertisements, in television dramas and situation comedies, in Hollywood movies, and indeed throughout all the mass entertainments and news media, non-Whites are placed at center stage in our society. All the while, White males are portrayed as fools like Al Bundy and nauseating cartoon caricatures such as Beavis and Butthead or Homer Simpson.

And in the world of Political Correctness, one media image always predominates over all others—-the racially mixed couple. We are bombarded with scenes s uch as negroid Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas sporting his White wife at his confirmation hearings; the congoid police chief of Portland, Oregon showing off his White wife on television; O.J. Simpson trial judge Lance Ito, ironically presiding over the murderous dénouement of another famous interracial “romance”, with his White police captain wife; boring British monkoid comic Lenny Henry and his equally unfunny White spouse awn French; British actress Helen Mirren groping her African “partner” in steamy sex scenes during the second Prime Suspect mystery series. The revolting list is endless.

What does the MTV generation actually see on MTV? More often than not, non-White males dancing with White girls and light-skinned negresses writhing and cavorting alongside depraved White girls in a sort of implied sexual smorgasbord. From prime-time television shows to rock music videos to Levi Strauss jeans advertisements, race-mixing is hip and cool, obviously the thing the power structure most wants White youths to do.

The rot began noticeably to set in back in 1933 with the election of Franklin D. Roosevelt and the elevation of his wife Eleanor, an unspeakable lesbian hag, to the position of First Lady. Since that time American society and government have grown into one gigantic cesspool of moral putrefaction. White working Americans are paying for it all, in cash, in the wasted lives and empty futures our children face, and in the mongrel babies our air-headed Kelly Bundy-type daughters are producing because they have been so cruelly and viciously deceived into betraying their race and their heritage.

The True Enemy

Who are the authors of the left-liberal agenda, and whose are the guiding hands which implement the plan? Who is behind this program to destroy all standards of decency and racial self-respect, to propel young White girls (who are ashamed of being White) into the beds of non-Whites? Who exactly is it who wants to breed a new race of mongrels? The answer is simple: it is the Jews. We can no more honestly discuss race-mixing and cultural poisoning without speaking of the Jews than one can discuss disease without mentioning germs.

As far back as 1908, one of the foremost Jewish writers of his time, Israel Zangwill, published a play entitled The Melting Pot. This purported to be a patriotic piece praising the wonders of American assimilation (before “diversity” became the adopted tactic of the Tribe). In reality, the play is one of the earliest modern examples of Jewish miscegenation propaganda. The character of David Quixano, the “brilliant Jewish intellectual” who is the play’s protagonist, concludes the script with the following tirade:

“There she lies, the great Melting Pot! Listen! Can’t you hear the roaring and bubbling? There gapes her mouth—the harbor where a thousand mammoth feeders come from the ends of the earth to pour in their human freight. Ah, what a roaring and a seething! Celt and Latin, Slav and Teuton, Greek and Syrian, Gentile and Jew, Black and White and Yellow…”

Today the melting pot has become a festering trash heap. We allowed those infamous lines, written by the Jewess Emma Lazarus, about giving us the world’s wretched refuse to be written on the Statue of Liberty, and that is what we have gotten, in spades. Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Haitians, mestizo Cubans, Hispanics of every stripe, Filipinos, Russian Jews, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Cambodians, Laotian Montagnards, Ethiopians, Somalis, Arabs of every Middle Eastern backwater—-all are pouring across our borders unchecked and spilling off every airplane that lands and every ship that docks in this country.

For all practical purposes, there is no immigration control of any kind in the United States. They are taking our jobs, our hospital beds, our welfare dollars, our medical and social services, our schools, and our daughters. They fill our prisons. They sell drugs to our children. They transmit AIDS and other infectious diseases. They depress wages by supplying an endless source of cheap labor. In many parts of this country they are forcing their native languages on the rest of us rather than learning to speak English as White immigrants did in times past.

In the Congressional Record, published by the United States Government Printing Office, Proceedings of the House 1957, page 8559, you will find documentation of the plans for using non-Whites to achieve the destruction of Aryan America. Israel Cohen, a leading British Communist leader, published a pamphlet as far back as 1921 entitled A Racial Program for the Twentieth Century.

An excerpt: “We must realize that our Party’s most powerful weapon is racial tension. By propounding into the consciousness of the dark races that for centuries they have been oppressed by the Whites, we can mould them to the program of the Communist Party. In America, we will aim for subtle victory. While inflaming the negro minority against the Whites, we will instill into the Whites a guilt complex for their exploitation of the negroes. We will aid the negroes to rise to prominence in every walk of life, in the professions and in the world of sports and entertainment. With this prestige, the negroes will be able to intermarry with Whites and begin a process which will deliver America into our hands.”

Let us again quote Israel Zangwill, this time writing in 1914, the year millions of young White men marched to their deaths on the battlefields of Europe to make the world safe for Jewish international finance:

“…The negroes of genius [sic] whom the writer has been privileged to know…show the potentialities of the race even without White admixture, and as men of this stamp are capable of attracting cultured White wives, the fusing process, beginning at the top with types like these, should be far less unwelcome than that which starts with the dregs of both races.” Why does the name “O. J. Simpson” come to mind as we read these lines?

The Canadian Jewish intellectual, Max Dimont, called this acquisition of worldwide power by the Jews through the genetic admixture and destruction of every race (except the Jewish race), every nationality, and every religion (except for Judaism) “…a true Brotherhood of Man. Where would the capital of such a world order be? Why, Jerusalem, of course.”

In the Talmud we find these words of Rabbi Baba Mezia: “Jews are human beings; the other peoples of the world are but beasts”. This deranged Judaic vision of world conquest is symbolized in the esoteric Hebrew mysticism of the Kabbalah, and by the Talmudic allegory of the World Serpent, a gigantic snake depicted as girdling the globe with the head and the tail meeting in Jerusalem.

The Zionist leader Maurice Samuel wrote in 1924: “We Jews, the destroyers, will remain destroyers forever, because we need a world of our own.”

Wherever there is organized degeneracy and corruption; wherever the Christian religion is insulted, ridiculed, and vilified; wherever the White woman is cheapened into a sex object and her role as wife and mother is mocked and degraded; wherever our daughters and sisters are depicted in the arms of non-Whites; wherever sex is commercialized and twisted into the loathsome perversions of homosexuality, sado-masochism, feminism, transvestism, pædophilia; wherever the White male and the Western civilization he created are abused, reviled, and subverted, there you will find the influence of the Jew. Who created Communism, one of the crucial foundation blocks of today’s New World Order? The Jews Mordecai Levy, a.k.a. What organizations actively promote the murder of millions of unborn White infants through abortion? The American Jewish Congress, the B’nai Brith Women, the National Council of Jewish Women, the United Synagogues of America, the Women’s League of Conservative Judaism, the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, the National Federation of Temple Sisters, the American Jewish Committee, and the North American Federation of Temple Youth have all come out in favor of the “pro-choice” agenda. Judaism is the one major American religious denomination which gives unqualified support to abortion, except for Orthodox Jewish rabbis who are adamantly opposed to abortion for Jews.

Who created the vile “counterculture” of the 1960s which now dominates our universities, our government, and our air waves? “New Left” Jews like Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, Mark Rudd, Bernadine Dohrn, Herbert and Bettina Aptheker, Allen Ginsburg, and Susan Sontag (who once described the White race as “the cancer of history.”)

In the U. S. Congress, who are the chief instigators of government violation of the Second Amendment right of all Americans to keep and to bear arms? Jewesses Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer, Jewish Congressmen Charles Schumer and Barney Frank, former Senator Howard Metzenbaum and present Senator Arlen Specter.

These people took a solemn oath to uphold the United States Constitution when they assumed office, and yet they violate that oath without cavil every time they introduce, lobby, or vote for gun control legislation. Why the apparent casual willingness to violate their oaths of office?

What is the basis for the Jews’ universal and long standing historical reputation for dishonesty and untrustworthiness? Every year, during the most solemn holy day on the Jewish calendar, the Kol Nidre (All Vows) oath is sung in Jewish synagogues. In fact, it is the liturgical high point of the annual Yom Kippur or Day of Atonement festival. With the following Kol Nidre oath, Jews ready themselves for another year among the Gentiles: “All vows, obligations, oaths or anathemas, pledges of names, which we have vowed, sworn, devoted, or bound ourselves to, from this Day of Atonement until the next Day of Atonement, whose arrival we hope for in happiness, we repent aforehand of them all. They shall be deemed absolved, forgiven, annulled, void, and made to no effect; they shall not be binding, nor have any power; the vows shall not be reckoned vows; the obligations shall not be obligatory, nor the oaths considered as oaths.”

Whose influence thrust Great Britain into war with China to make the Far East safe for the opium trade? The Jewish Sassoon family of bankers and drug dealers.

Who were the traders in human flesh who brought the blacks to America? In the Carnegie Institute publication entitled “Documents Illustrative of the Slave Trade in America”, we find the following partial listing of Jewish owners of slave ships: Abraham Pereira Mendez, Aaron Lopez, Moses and Samuel Levy, Jacob Franks, Isaac Levy, Nathan Simpson, Justus Bosch, John Abrams, Henry Cruger, Jacob Phoenix, Mordecai and David Gomez, Nathan Marston, Abram Lyell, William DeWoolf and James DeWoolf, Jan De Sweets, John and Jacob Roosevelt.

Indeed, the slave trade was almost entirely a Jewish enterprise as far as the actual financing went. Black captives were sold into slavery by their own chiefs or rival tribes on the West Coast of Africa, Yankee skippers and crews captained the slave ships on the dangerous Middle Passage and battled tropical storms, deadly diseases, hostile tribesmen on the coast and the ever-present danger of slave revolts on board—while Jews sat safe in Boston, Providence, Nassau, and Charleston and reaped the profits.

Yet despite the role of the Jews in bringing the blacks to this country in chains, who financed and directed the so-called “Civil Rights Revolution” when it served their purposes later on? Jews like Jack Greenberg of the NAACP legal department, Marvin Rich of CORE, Herbert Aptheker of the Communist Party U.S.A., Jewish symphonic conductor Leonard Bernstein who held fund-raising cocktail parties for the Black Panthers, and Rabbi Israel Mill of the Rabbinical Council of America’s “Civil Rights Task Force”. Of the three so-called “civil rights activists” killed by Southern partisans in the famous “Mississippi Burning” incident in 1964, one was a black and two were Jews.

Who writes the scripts of television shows which ridicule traditional moral values, such as “Murphy Brown”, and nauseous race-mixing drivel such as the thankfully short-lived “True Colors”? Wait until the end of any Hollywood movie or television sitcom and watch the credits roll. Notice all the Goldbergs, Levines, This-stein and That-steins, Silvermans, Kagans, and other obviously Jewish names.

We must stop this malicious destruction of our culture and our nation. We must refuse to allow ourselves to be deceived, indoctrinated, and intimidated by an alien people. And make no mistake about it—the Jews are an alien people in our midst. The Jewish U.S. Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis made this point clearly when he stated, “…Let us recognize that we Jews are a distinct nation of which every Jew, whatever his country, his station, or shade of belief, is necessarily a member.”

Not only are they in our midst, they are occupants of all the seats of power in this nation. They own the news media and the entertainment industry. They control the Federal Reserve Bank and thereby enjoy a stranglehold on the economic health or our people. By means of high finance, they have gained control of corporate America. Using bribery, blackmail, and deceit, they have seized control of the U.S. government along with all the power of coercive force which goes along with it; the result has been the open butchery of White separatists like the Weaver family and non-approved religious dissidents such as the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas.

We in White America are living under alien occupation. If we are to survive as a race, and if civilization is to be maintained on the North America continent we must, like our forefathers, resist this tyranny with every means at our disposal. You have the moral duty to join and support this effort, without cavil and without stint. Will you take upon yourself this duty, this burden of history? Do you have the Right Stuff?

Wakeup Beck, you could be a leader and go down in history as a re-founder of America and maybe even save what little is left of the country. But only if you wake up and take a stand for the only people that are capable of creating a country like America. Quit riding political correctness by celebrating a man who was a fake.

Take a stand and admit the truth. Equality is a fantasy proven in every country of the world every day of the year. If equality is remotely possible why do only white countries have immigration problems. The facts are there but the question is you man enough to admit to them.

Take the stand that will bring America back not finish destroying it. Help build America to what it once was a “Caucasian Nation”.

They complained of voter intimidation at the polls.

They called for ethnic studies programs to promote racial pride.

They are, some say, the new face of racial oppression in this nation — and their faces are white.

“We went from being a privileged group to all of a sudden becoming whites, the new victims,” says Charles Gallagher, a sociologist at La Salle University in Pennsylvania who researches white racial attitudes and was baffled to find that whites see themselves as a minority.

“You have this perception out there that whites are no longer in control or the majority. Whites are the new minority group.”

Call it racial jujitsu: A growing number of white Americans are acting like a racially oppressed majority. They are adopting the language and protest tactics of an embattled minority group, scholars and commentators say.

They point to these signs of racial anxiety:

• A recent Public Religion Research Institute poll found 44% of Americans surveyed identify discrimination against whites as being just as big as bigotry aimed at blacks and other minorities. The poll found 61% of those identifying with the Tea Party held that view, as did 56% of Republicans and 57% of white evangelicals.

• More colleges are offering courses in “Whiteness Studies” as white Americans cope with becoming what one commentator calls a “dispossessed majority group.”

• A Texas group recently formed the “Former Majority Association for Equality” to offer college scholarships to needy white men. Colby Bohannan, the group’s president, says white men don’t have scholarship options available to minorities. “White males are definitely not a majority” anymore, he says.

• U.S. Census Bureau projections that whites will become a minority by 2050 are fueling fears that whiteness no longer represents the norm. This fear has been compounded by the recent recession, which hit whites hard.

• Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh argued in a radio show that Republicans are an “oppressed minority” in need of a “civil rights movement” because its members willingly sit in the “back of the bus” and “are afraid of the fire hoses and the dogs.”

• Fox talk-show host Glenn Beck led a march on Washington (attended primarily by white people) to “restore honor,” and once called President Obama a racist with a “deep-seated hatred for white people and white culture.” He later said he regretted making that comment.
